Tri Repetae stylised as tri repetae. is the third studio album by English electronic music duo Autechre, released on 6 November 1995 by Warp in the United Kingdom. The album was released on 16 March 1996 by Wax Trax Records and TVT Records in the United States as a two-disc set named Tri Repetae, which included the Garbage and Anvil Vapre EPs constituting the second CD. In Japan, it was released with the bonus track Medrey. I am doing service of putting high quality vinyl available to the world. Electronic Repetae stylized as tri repetae. released in the United States as Tri Repetae is the third studio album by the British electronic music duo Autechre, released on 6 November 1995 by Warp Records in the United Kingdom and on 16 March 1996 by Wax Trax Records and TVT Records. The album was released in the US as a two-disc set named Tri Repetae, which included the Garbage and Anvil Vapre EPs constituting the second CD. Tri Repetae is considered to be one of the most influential electronic albums of the 1990s, with its r. Формируйте собственную коллекцию записей in album Autechre - Tri Repetae 1995. Autechre - Dael. Autechre - Clipper. Autechre - Leterel. Autechre - Rotar. Autechre - Stud. Autechre - Eutow. Starting with the snarling, slow machine-funk of Dael, Tri Repetae fully confirms Autechre's evolution into electronic noise kings. With 1995s Tri Repetae, Autechre obliterated all that they-and most of their Warp roster mates-had done before. Rather than cut away vestigial parts, they scoured off all flesh and cheesy bits entirely, trash-compacted their hard drives and went full cyborg instead. While Aphex Twin used a dentist drill-high frequency to wheeze atop his single Ventolin earlier that year, Autechre made it their entire aesthetic, reconfiguring each component of their productions with that same level of sonic intensity. Tri Repetae is the spirit of Radioheads Kid A and OK Computer despite obviously preceding them both taken to its most extreme conclusions and where as Thom Yorke loves to deal with the soullessness of modern life and separation from reality as lyrical themes, Autechre have created it in an unabridged musical form. As with any piece of music in this style to pick and pull at certain tracks is to miss the point of the album entirely. Tri Repetae is a swirling world of constantly evolving glitch tracks combined with hard bass and drum loops all written in competing time signatures
Eutow always stirs the emotions within me... Wave after wave! And it's danceable too! The rest of the album has some great tracks/moments.. It got influences of Industrial Techno from 92/93... Sometimes I play this lp on 45-8 for a more accelerated drive. P.s. For all us English in 2019 this was made in the E.U.(Hmmm)...
Great repress, v happy with the sq, very little surface noise. Don’t hesitate to grab this version
Isn't it ironic? They made a point to have the sticker (liner notes?) on the CD say "incomplete without surface noise" (and on the vinyl, the inverse) - yet this repress (from the original molds I believe) is as black as Darth Vader's cape. Maybe with a piece of lint on it here and there, but that's it. (I have the Incanubula repress too, and it does have surface noise - so I don't think the repress is the source of this on the latter.)
I redeemed the download code for tri repeatae and got Incunabula instead. Not a particularly bad deal anyway.
Never remove those stickers. It’s part of the artwork. Always worth more.
Awesome repress from warm! Probably my best sounding record. Haven't been into Autechre for that long, a bit here and there. These re-releases of the first 3 records are the perfect time to delve in ????.. Great record!!
Sounds amazing. The packaging is great too, front and back is just grey, with some beautiful mechanical artwork on the inner sleeves. I just wish it had the disc order on there, sometimes it's hard to remember track order. One thing to know before buying is that the rectangular sticker on the front is attached to the sleeve, not the shrinkwrap. Anyone know how to safely remove it?
The difference being that it's _incomplete without _ surface noise on the CD jewel case version of the sticker.
I hope I'm not too late to say this, but don't remove the sticker! It's part of the artwork!
I think this sticker is a part of the artwork. It was glued to cd case as well.

Can't 100% for say for this sticker.... but, I bought a bunch of LP's with giant hand written catalogue number stickers on them so the owner could find them. This is how I got them off following some advice I found on the net: First, REMOVE THE RECORDS FROM THEIR SLEEVES. Next, get a hair drier and flat knife (putty knife would be best, but something with a sharp flat edge). Heat the sticker gentle for a minute or so, then gently scrape/push away at one end of the sticker with the heat over the area where you trying to peel off. The sticker should peel away with ease, don't use too much force. Go gently and it won't peel the cover off with it. There may be a little sticker residue left on the sleeve, just use rub it way, use a little heat if necessary. This worked a treat for me. Just use caution and go slow.
This is a really great Repress from Warp ! Perfect sound and vinyl quality ! Absolutely clean sound and good dynamics. No surface noise ;-) If you dont already got this on LP (first pressings are very expensive today, and the RE sound better ! ) this is a must have ! (and...for those who dont know, "comes complete with surface noise" was a little joke sticker info at original released LPs (on cd there was "...without surface noise" ) . I´m listening to this album since it was releases in 1995, and love to listen to it again and again .
best sounding re-press of anything I've ever heard. warp have not disappointed with this, only faults i can think of is a slight warp in one of the 12" which still plays fine and barely noticeable, anyone else have this? also no surface noise as stated on front sticker which doesn't bother me at all but is slightly misleading. been listening to this over and over again for past two days and just can't believe how good it sounds. don't sleep on this one! 11/10.
"complete with surface noise." I must say I feel betrayed by the false advertising. My copy came clean, barely any surface noise whatsoever.
I bet they meant : after you play the hell out of it it'll be still complete even with some surface noise
one of the best sounding represses I have ever heard. buy with confidence.
I can only agree to everything said below... Holy crap does this sound good! Thx Warp for this incredible repress of my favourite Ae album.Btw is there any word on the other albums or even the EPs being repressed?
Haven't seen anything about it from Warp, but I'm sure they'll eventually get around to reissues of Confeld and LP5. And if/when they do, Chiastic Slide better be included. I already bought this and the Incunabula and Amber reissues... Warp is gonna bankrupt me if they keep up this nonsense.
Jah bless this incredibly awesome and mega weird album, and all praise to Warp for reissuing an underrated, stone-cold classic that just sounds TOO GOOD. I honestly can't believe the sound quality on this pressing. My jaw regularly dropped completely open at certain points during songs I've heard a bazillion times: Clipper, Dael and Rsdio in particular take on a whole new life with this pressing. Just absolutely mindbending stuff from total weirdo geniuses. I give it a solid A+++qqAYzrD3.72bJN
There are going to be a lot of happy people out there this Christmas! If they get all three of the KILLER ae represses...that is! They sound soooooooo good.
Probably my favorite repress by Warp to date, this is an essential buy if you love industrial electronic music and I can't recommend it enough.
This is a stunning repress. I've wanted this for a few years but the original was going for silly money, glad I held out as warp have done a splendid job on this! Hope the other two are as well pressed.
Something is missing in my copy. The sticker says "complete with surface noise", but I can't find surface noise. This is maybe one of the best Warp-pressings I have ever listened to. The vinyl is ridiculously quiet, the sound is way better than on the original pressing - lots of freshness and dynamics. Perfect repress - this is how it should be done. Thank you, Warp!
You can say that again! All 3 sound absolutely superb!
Incunabula and Amber are of same stunning quality. Seems someone did a heart-driven job right here. You can buy the other two repressings without a doubt.
Exact same experience here. Absolutely brilliant quality. If it weren't so close to christmas I'd be buying all 3 of the reprints. :P
